Catherine Smith is an accomplished actress and voice talent, whose past work experience includes positions in both the corporate and non-profit sectors. As a founding member of both the Charlotte Shakepeare Company and Innovative Theatre, Catherine gained a deep appreciation of what it takes to run a non-profit organization. After college, she went on to spend 7 years at Charlotte’s Public Radio Station WFAE 90.7FM, doing everything from special events, to fund raising, to being a weekend on-air host. Catherine then spent 6 years at Time Warner Cable as Public Relations Manager, where she also produced special events. She has served on the boards of several local non-profits, including the Simmons Family YMCA, Theatre Charlotte, Leadership Charlotte and the Lupus Foundation of America’s Piedmont Chapter. Catherine holds a BCA from UNC Charlotte and runs her company, Catherine Smith LLC, from her home in Waxhaw, NC.
