The other night I had a strange experience. I walked into one room and saw a 13 foot tall sculpture begin to take shape. I walked into another room and heard instruments like guitars, flute, sax, trombone, viola & cello all working together to create a unified sound. At the same time in another room, teens were bringing a touching story to life. It was amazing! All around me art was happening and while they were perfecting their own skills and following their individual passions, ultimately it wasn’t about them. It was about using art to celebrate acceptance and inclusion. How cool is that!?!
