My name is Renee Cloud and I first learned about Playing for Others last year through some heavily involved friends. I adore the arts and although I’m not super talented in this field, I wanted to take what I knew and do something meaningful with it, hence PFO.
My first encounter with PFO was last year. I remember trying to plan study sessions with Izzy around her busy PFO rehearsal schedule. I thought to myself, anything that time consuming must be doing some good.
Turns out, IT DOES. I’ve never seen such a big group of energetic teens so committed to doing something beneficial. After walking through the doors to the retreat, I knew I was in the right place. PFO is so great, and I’ve made so many excellent new friends. I’ve learned so much, and I expect to learn so much more.
