A Note From Jen
A tornado has hit my house. There are buckets from the retreat on my driveway (still), there are mounds of costumes and props in the laundry room, there are art projects in bags in the office, there are shelving units and storage tubs in every room and there are little paint dots on the walkway up to my front door from a teen who forgot to put down a drop cloth when they were splatter painting a banner. It’s a mess inside and out, but that’s OK because we are in a state of transition. (Read More)
Buddy family spotlight: Jason Spears, daughter Devin
We learned about Playing for Others in a memo that was sent home from Metro School with our daughter Devin. To my wife Jody and I it seemed miraculous. Jody had searched exhaustively for the sixteen years of Devin’s life for a group of peers that was her age and willing to share their friendship with Devin, and we hoped Devin would respond in kind.
