Dear Journey Group,
First, I would like to thank all of you who came to the Fall Open House! It means so much to the organization that y’all showed your support. It was a fabulous night!
This month, I get to tell y’all all about the social side of PFO. Every month, PFO does special events for the teens, usually before buddy events. These special events can be anything from game night to an Obscure International Holiday Party! These special events are an awesome way to bond with other teens, especially if you’re a new teen like me. However, special events are not the only place bonding happens! Any time all the PFO teens are together, it’s one giant party, with everyone including everyone. The amazing thing about PFO is everyone feels like family, no matter how long they have known each other. From day one of the PFO year, I have felt strong connections with many people. It’s crazy how fast you bond with people at PFO!
It’s awesome that there is a teen organization where everyone feels included, no matter what! I’ve learned that acceptance is one of the most important things a person can learn in life, and I feel that PFO had already instilled it in me.
