Hey there Journey Group!
I hope you all are doing well this April!
This month I wanted to tell you all about PFO’s community involvement!

Playing For Others is a very community-based organization. Although we do, like any organization, hope to expand in the future, but since we are a relatively new organization, a lot of the things we do are made possible by our supporters in the community.

Most of what we do is made possible by our corporate sponsors. Our corporate sponsors are companies in the community that we have connections to, who support PFO. Without our corporate sponsors, there would be no PFO. But that is only one way that PFO is involved in the community.

We just want to spread the word about this great organization we have, so one way we do that is through you guys! Our journey groups allow us to let people in the community know what we are doing. For example, many of the people that come to things like Open House, arts experiences, and other events, are people from our journey groups. You guys are our community!

Finally, one of the most important parts of PFO are our buddies. Our buddies are children in the community who have intellectual or physical disabilities. So that is yet another way that PFO is involved in the community!

Thank you so much for reading my monthly blog, and I will talk to you next month!
