Greetings Journey Group
Here in PFO we are all divided into committees. The five committees are Winter Ball, Photography, Publicity, Childrens Book, and Open House. My committee is Publicity. Our job is to plan and publicize the song writing competition. The songwriting competition is a competition for teens (not in PFO) in the Charlotte area who write original songs. It is held as part of the music experience, which I am also a part of. Our committee has so much work to do that we have been divided into three sub-committees; the elevator speech sub-committee, the flyer sub-comittee, and the video sub-committee. The elevator speech sub-committee works on writing a short description of what the competition is for the rest of the committee to give to interested teens. The flyer sub-committee makes the flyer to publicize the competition. The sub-committee I am on is the video sub-committee, and we make the video that we can send out to recruit people for the competition.
