Hey Journey Group!
It’s time to Spring into another fantastic journey group blog! This month is all about PFO’s community engagement. Playing for others engages with the community through our events such as the arts experiences. Every year the organization puts on a theater show, and this year it’s The Elves and the Shoemaker. We invite the community (and all of you!) to come out and see this awesome show! From what I hear, it’s going to be hilarious and I can’t wait to see it. Another event PFO hosts for the community is the Teen Songwriting Competition. Talented teens in the community can enter their original song for the competition, and the finalists are then chosen to perform live at our concert. The music experience (which I’m in!) hosts this event as well as performs in it. We’ve been writing songs and even learning some awesome step dance moves. Come check it out! The PFO spring open house is also April 21st. For those of you who attended the fall open house, it will be just as entertaining as informative, with a few differences to enhance your experience. Expect an email soon about the dates for all of these events- I assure you, you’ll not want to miss them!
