Hey Journey Group!
I hope everyone is doing well and enjoying this beautiful Spring weather! This month I wanted to talk a little bit about how I believe Playing for Others serves the community! One of the main reasons I decided to join PFO last year was because I loved how every year they picked a different non-profit organization to partner with. This showed me that PFO was truly about serving others and wanting to make an impact on as many people as possible. I have so enjoyed getting to know my buddy and her family and so many others teen’s buddies. It has really opened up my eyes to see how easy it is for everyone to come together, with differences aside, and just have a good time.
PFO is also really good about spreading out PFO love! Whenever we have events, big or small, we are all over the place which helps spread our message to different parts of Charlotte and even farther. In order to get the word out in the community, we place ourselves in the community in order to really make sure our voices are being heard. Whether it’s at a park, or a mall, or a anywhere, all PFO teens make sure to show off their PFO pride and inform whoever is interested about Playing for Others.
I would like to give a BIG thank you to everyone who has donated to my personal goal of $800! I love each and everyone of you who has given to this great organization!
