Hi, Journey Group, I hope all of you are doing well. It’s finally time for a new blog and this time the theme is Leadership. If there is one thing that PFO has taught me, it is how to be a true leader. It has also taught me what it takes to be a true leader; being on time with everything, setting good examples for others, respect, and putting other people’s needs before your own. PFO teaches us good leadership skills by having strict deadlines, events where teens get to practice their people skills, and working with others. A PFO teen whose leadership style I admire is Kaitlin Wightman-Ausman’s. She is my small group leader and one of the co-presidents of PFO. This is because she is very caring, involved, and is always punctual. PFO is a great way for me to prepare and succeed in the real world. The reason is because when I reach a leadership position being on time with things will make people believe that I am a responsible person. This will lead to respect and I will be viewed as a good leader. That’s it for this month’s blog. We’ll be in touch. Take it easy.
